Announcing V2 & Web Version Added

Thank You!

I want to begin this post with a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shared their positive feedback. It's incredibly motivating to see so many people commenting on how much fun, enjoyment, and even addiction they've found in the game.

What Is Next

Since Pirate's jam is over and I am now able to update the project I have uploaded the web version of this game.

I am committed to dedicating March to iterating the next version and preparing an Itch & Steam demo. I am optimistic about the deadline, but I would not be surprised if it took longer.

I am focusing on integrating elements from both of the games I've built in this genre, The End Always Comes and Reveal & Choose, aiming to refine and expand the gameplay.

Is This The Right Choice

This project marks my second game jam venture into this particular genre, and it seems I've hit upon a compelling game loop that resonates with me and aligns closely with what players seem to want. I seem to have a decent knack for creating engaging gameplay in his genre, and it has been relatively easy for me to tap into the audience's desires and also envision similar enhancements that the feedback is coming in with.

I know there are plenty of similar popular games like Vampire Survivor and Brotato, but given the feedback (and maybe my blindness to confirmation bias), I believe there's still an opportunity to provide a similar fun & engaging experience while being different enough that not simply to be a clone.

Provide Input & Updates

For those interested in staying updated on the progress or wishing to contribute your thoughts, I invite you to follow the development journey on Twitch as ThornityCo, where I actively engage with the community and welcome your input.
